The Spring Flower Show is taking place at Hidden Lake Gardens from March 1 through March 29. Step inside the conservatory and experience the vibrant showcase of color. Admission to HLG includes flower show. Go to hiddenlakegardens.msu.edu for more information.
Adult Party Line Dances Classes are at Savanna Rose Dance Studio Tuesday Nights from 7 to 7:30 pm and Wednesday Afternoon from 2:15 to 2:45 pm. Drop in for only $15, a 3-class punch card is $30 and a 6-class punch card is $50. Sign up at the dance studio 10 minutes before the class begins. Savanna Rose Dance Studio is in Downtown Brooklyn.
The Kid’s Expo/Craft Show is taking place at the Mill Sports and Events Center in Onsted on Saturday, March 7 from 10 to 2. This show is for children aged 5 to 17. For an application call 517-467-5529.
Join the Jackson District Library at Callaghan’s Coffee Café for a Read-In and get a discount on your order on Tuesday, March 10 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Brink your own book or visit the JDL’s onsite pop-up library. Reading on-site for 15 minutes earns attendees a Get Caught Read-In button and 10% off their food and drink order.
Join Camp Liberty for an Open House and Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Sunday, March 15 from 11 am to 2 pm. This is an opportunity to say thank you to all of the volunteers, Veterans and first responders. Enjoy lunch, live music, property tours and more. Stop in and see what Camp Liberty is about, everyone is welcome. Camp Liberty is located at 7044 Kappler Drive, Brooklyn.
Join Two Lakes Tavern for a benefit dinner to raise funds for the Haag family after the sudden and tragic loss of their son on Saturday, March 14 from 1 to 4 pm. Dinner will be free, but donations are encouraged, a raffle and donation bucket as well.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Shady’s Tap Room with a full day of fun on Tuesday, March 17. Live performance from the Piper of the Irish Hills from 4-5 pm and live music from Grant Reiff & the Riflemen from 6-9 pm. Drink and food specials will be all day long.
The City Saloon will be open on March 17 from noon to 9 pm to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day for cold beer, festive vibes and a little extra luck of the Irish.
St. Mark’s Lutheran Church is holding their next Diaper Closet on Saturday, March 21 from 10 am to 1 pm. They are located at 11151 US 12. Please park in back and go downstairs. They are providing a week’s supply of diapers, wipes and diaper cream (per child). This service is open to the public. There is no residency requirement or income verification—just a need.

WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging is holding Tech Time the first Thursday of every month for those who need help with their computer, phone table or any other technology. Join the Hospice of Lenawee for Good Grief, a free, drop-in support group for widows and widowers who experienced loss earlier in life. Good Grief takes place on the second Tuesday of the month from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Hospice of Lenawee, 1903 Wolf Creek Hwy, Adrian.
The CORE Afterschool Program takes place at Brooklyn Presbyterian Church on Thursdays from 3 to 6 pm. CORE stands for Community, Outreach, Recreation and Education. 7th to 12th graders are encouraged to join and volunteer, giving them a great opportunity to be mentors and strengthen their leadership skills.
